Tropical Storm Fay DCN Update #8

As of 0800 AM on Friday, August 22, 2008:

A Tropical Storm Warning is now in effect along the Gulf Coast from Aripeka to Indian Pass. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours.

A Tropical Storm Warning remains is in effect from Sebastian Inlet northward to the Savannah River at the border between Georgia and South Carolina. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours or sooner.

A Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect from west of Indian Pass to Destin. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible within the next 36 hours.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Warning is in effect for interior sections of east central and northeast Florida. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected during the next 24 hours for inland locations.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Watch is in effect for interior sections of the Big Bend coastal counties. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible during the next 36 hours for inland locations.

Tropical Storm Fay DCN Update #9

As of 5:00 PM on Friday, August 22d:

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect along the Gulf Coast from Aripeka to Destin. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours.

A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect from Flagler Beach north to the Savannah River at the border between Georgia and South Carolina. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours or sooner.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect from west of Destin to the border of Mississippi and Alabama. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible within the next 36 hours.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Warning is in effect for interior sections of east central and northeast Florida. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected during the next 24 hours for inland locations.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Watch is in effect for interior sections of the Big Bend coastal counties. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible during the next 36 hours for inland locations.

Tropical Storm Fay DCN Update #6

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Brevard and Orange Counties until 8:00 AM Thursday. A flash flood warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. Take immediate actions to protect life and property. Travel is not recommended anywhere in east central Florida tonight.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Fort Pierce northward to Altamaha Sound, Georgia. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours or sooner.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Warning is in effect for interior sections of east central and northeast Florida. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected during the next 24 hours for inland locations.

August 19, 2008
Tropical Storm Fay DCN Update #2

As of 0800 AM on Tuesday, 19 August:

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the following areas: The Florida West Coast from the middle of longboat key southward, the Florida East Coast From Flagler Southward, The Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the west end of the Seven Mile Bridge. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 24 hours.

A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the Florida East Coast from north of Flagler Beach to Fernandina Beach. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible within the next 36 hours.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Warning is in effect for interior sections of South Florida and southeastern Central Florida. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are expected within the next 36 hours over the inland areas.

An Inland Tropical Storm Wind Watch is in effect for interior sections of East Central Florida and Northeast Florida. Tropical storm conditions, including winds of 39-73 mph, are possible within the next 36 hours over the inland areas.

The DCN will continue to monitor TS Fay.

While the DCN is not currently activated, we are continuing to monitor the track of TS Fay.
